interesting, the contrast between love and hate. it’s my desire to spread love, and after 2 days have 5 followers. compare to the general power of “hate” pictured above. hmmm… (although i’m not really doing much to spread the word or publicize my blog, nor am i doing much that is my own original though, but i’m learning what i want to do and how i want to focus as i go along). still, interesting in a learning/social scientific kind of way - negativity & actively complaining versus positivity & passively existing (and i’m not saying anything about ms or mr ihatetumblr because i find it funny and agree with some of the silliness on this site, i’m interested analyzing the situation/juxtaposition). it’s just.. interesting.
Oh Tumblr.
How wonderful?
After only one day, too. How fast we all +follow.
I guess I should bow down/offer a thankful tugjob to Peter W. Knox.
Now I feel guilty, kinda.
“negativity & actively complaining versus positivity & passively existing (and i’m not saying anything about ms or mr ihatetumblr because i find it funny and agree with some of the silliness on this site, i’m interested analyzing the situation/juxtaposition).”
I hate Tumblr because people re-blog with no commentary. I hate Tumblr because people re-blog with strange commentary. “Passively existing”? Is that a part of love, iloveyouiloveyouiloveyou? Is that a part of positivity? I hate Tumblr for casually supporting differences in each other. The Tumblr kids are not cheerleaders so much as they are the pom pom squad that occasionally shouts, “Go team!”. You know, the ones who sit on the sideline during football games, waiting to perform their routine during halftime when they’re peers decide to get popcorn and Twizzlers.
And I wouldn’t call I Hate Tumblr an act in negativity but rather an act in constructive criticism. We can’t improve ourselves if we continue to wallow in mediocrity and REALLY BAD REBLOGS, can we?
